Roughly 100 canines have been seized from a Logan County home as part of an ongoing animal cruelty and neglect investigation.
According to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Milton Sharpe Road belonging to Perry Shifflet in reference to numerous tips about animal neglect. Investigation revealed approximately 100 adult dogs and puppies on the property in poor living conditions and medical neglect.
The animals were seized and taken to the Logan County Humane society, where they are receiving proper medical attention. The investigation continues.
