Wichita State has announced the hiring of Kevin Saal as their new Athletic Director. Saal joins Wichita State from Murray State where he had been AD since March 2019. A release from WSU says that Saal led MSU through two conference realignment/transition processes. Murray State will be moving to The Missouri Valley Conference next month. Before coming to Murray State Saal spent 12 years at The University of Kentucky. A statement from MSU says they extend their best wishes to Saal and his family and that an interim AD will be announced in the coming days and the search process will begin.
