A Hopkinsville man was arrested Monday evening on assault and felony strangulation charges.
An arrest citation for 42-year old Patrick Allen of Hopkinsville says he was in an altercation with his 19-year old step-son at a home on Donna Drive when he allegedly placed his hands around the victim’s throat and squeezed.
The victim had several red, bloody scratches on the back of his neck area, according to the report.
Allen is charged with second-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
