Nashville Predator Roman Josi is headed to another All-Star Game. Josi replaces the injured Nathan MacKinnon on the Central Division roster. This is his fourth All-Star Game. Josi has 43 points through 43 games. The All-Star Game is on Saturday night in Las Vegas. The Predators host the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow in their last game before the break.

Former St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Shildt has accepted a role with the San Diego Padres. He’ll be working with their player development staff in addition to a new role in the Commissioner’s Office. Shildt accepted a job with MLB back in December. Shildt’s new role with the Padres will take place in conjunction with that one. The Cardinals fired Shildt following the 2021 season citing philosophical differences between Shildt and the front office at that time
