A single-vehicle accident on Rose Creek Road near Nebo Monday afternoon killed the driver.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 77-year old Stephen Childers had been eastbound when his pickup crossed the westbound lane and went off the roadway and into the ditch. It went into a ditch and crashed into a rock culvert, overturning multiple times.
Childers was trapped inside his truck and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County coroner.
