Christian County loses, UHA wins Monday/Area Scores

Christian County lost its 10th straight game in falling at Owensboro Catholic 52-50. Jordan Miles led the Colonels in scoring with 18 points with Derrell Bateman adding 16. The Colonels are now 4-15 and play at Fort Campbell as part of a boy-girl 8th district doubleheader Thursday night.

University Heights had to go to overtime to defeat Calloway County 63-50. The Blazers got 16 points from Quinton Quarles, 13 from Lemar Northington and 12 from Elijah Walton as they improved to 7-8. UHA is back in action Friday night at Hopkinsville as part of an 8th district boy-girl twin bill.

Elsewhere: Franklin Simpson edged Todd Central 39-38, Lyon County drubbed Trigg County 80-39, Livingston Central over Dawson Springs 60-42, Henderson County eased by Daviess County 59-52, Murray defeated Paducah Tilghman 62-55 and Graves County routed Ballard Memorial 81-31.
