An investigation on Henderson Drive in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon led to the arrest of a local man for burglary.
An arrest citation for 29-year old Cory Carneal of Hopkinsville says he allegedly went inside the home of a woman he formerly lived with in the 500 block of Henderson Drive uninvited, slapped her and attempted to take her property.
The victim told police she didn’t know how Carneal got in, as the door was locked.
Carneal was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and giving officers false identifying information.
