A man who allegedly became angry and broke windows in several businesses on the west side of Hopkinsville Saturday night was arrested on a felony charge.
A police report says management at the BP at North Drive and West Seventh Street told Hopkinsville police that 26-year old Altovise McGregor of Hopkinsville entered the store and attempted to steal food and candy items.
He reportedly became irate when confronted and went outside and threw a large object through the window, placing employees in danger of potential injury.
McGregor then allegedly went across the street and threw a rock through a window at Wendy’s and then walked to McDonalds and broke windows using multiple large stones.
He was arrested a few minutes before 9 p.m. and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and attempted theft.
