Report: Heritage Christian Academy applies for KHSAA membership

Multiple reports indicate Heritage Christian Academy has applied for membership to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association. The school has played the last several years in the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association, which has forced them to travel across the state for games and matches. According to KHSAA bylaws, HCA would not be eligible for district or regional post season play during a two year probationary period. It’s also likely the school would be placed in the 8th district and 2nd region, but that has to be voted on by the KHSAA Board of Control.

HCA could play in the All A Classic in all sports offered and compete for championships. It’s also likely the Warriors will not compete for KHSAA district championships for several years.
