Hopkinsville Brewing Company owner chosen for extensive brewing program

A local small business owner has been recognized by Samuel Adams and selected to participate in the Eighth Brewer Experienceship program.

According to a news release, owner and brewer of the Hopkinsville Brewing Company Kate Russell has been chosen to take part in the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program, which supports food and beverage entrepreneurs.

The program selects one craft brewer annually to experience its Boston Brewery and learn business discipline and hone the art of brewing alongside the Samuel Adams team.  Russell and partner Joey Medeiros, will receive one-on-one mentoring, financial support to attend industry events and an opportunity to brew a collaboration beverage.

The Hopkinsville Brewing Company is 100 percent veteran-owned and has now called downtown Hopkinsville home for many years.
