The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime closures along a section of /Will Jackson Road in Trigg County starting Monday.
According to a news release, Will Jackson Road will be closed near the 6 mile marker to allow extensive ditching and drainage work, including the replacement of cross drains. The positioning of equipment to facilitate the work will require the roadway to be closed from approximately 8 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m., each day, weather permitting.
The drainage work is expected to be completed late in the day on Wednesday. The closure is near 5950 Will Jackson Road between Reddick Pond Road and Alexander Road.
There will be no marked detour but motorists can self-detour via Hurricane Road and Princeton Road.
