The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning on Lowe’s Drive that sent a couple to the hospital.
According to a news release, the two people injured, a male and a female who have not been identified, had gotten into an altercation with another couple at a business on Lowe’s Drive around 3 a.m. and were asked to leave. They reportedly made threats about returning to ‘shoot up the place’, and did later return to the location.
After returning, they reported got into an altercation with the same couple from before—during the confrontation, several shots were fired and the male and female that had left and returned sustained gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to an area hospital where their conditions are unknown. No arrests have yet been made and the investigation continues.
