A single-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on Overby Lane injured the driver.
A report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Sanderson says 38-year old Jacob Deason of Hopkinsville was eastbound when he entered a curve while traveling too fast.
Deason told police he lost control of his SUV when he attempted to brake to avoid a deer, causing him to slide off the roadway and down an embankment before coming to rest overturned in a cornfield.
EMS transported Deason to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
