Cox Mill Road collision sends one to Jennie Stuart

A wreck on Cox Mill Road Friday sent a Hopkinsville man to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, a mail carrier vehicle operated by 53-year old Christopher Lewis of Clarksville had been stopped at a mail box on Cox Mill and had begun to pull forward.  At that moment, a vehicle driven by 50-year old Aldrin Galindo of Hopkinsville attempted to the pass the mail carrier.

The back of Galindo’s vehicle and the front of the mail carrier collided, causing damage.  Lewis was not injured, but Galindo was taken to Jennie Stuart for treatment of minor injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
