The Todd County Health Department is reporting a ‘probable’ case of COVID-19, which would bring the total numbers of cases in Todd County up to 17.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the probable case is an otherwise healthy adult who had been in contact with an existing Todd County case. The patient is displaying symptoms and meets the clinical criteria for COVID-19. They have not participated in confirmatory lab testing since showing symptoms.
In Todd County, four of the 17 cases are considered ‘active’, meaning 13 people have recovered from the illness.
