The Ohio Valley Conference announced its All-OVC teams and other awards for men’s and women’s basketball today:
Men’s: Austin Peay’s Terry Taylor was named All OVC First team and was also named the OVC Player of the Year. Fellow Governor Jordyn Adams was named Freshman of the Year and was named to the All OVC First Team and All Newcomer Team. Murray State’s KJ Williams and Tevin Brown were named to the All OVC First Team. Eastern Kentucky’s AJ Hamilton was named OVC Coach of the Year.
Women’s: Murray State’s Macey Turley was named to the All OVC First Team with fellow Racer Alex Burpo named to the All OVC Second Team, with Laci Hawthorne also from Murray State named to the All Newcomer Team. Southeast Missouri’s Rekha Patterson was named OVC Coach of the Year.
The OVC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments begin tomorrow at the Ford Center in Evansville.
