Cincinnati Reds pitchers threw to hitters for the first time in spring training Wednesday in Goodyear, Arizona. Sonny Gray, who had September surgery to remove elbow bone chips, said he felt great and healthy after throwing 25 pitches to Nick Castellanos, Aristides Aquino and Shogo Akiyama. Cincinnati will play its first Cactus League game Saturday against Cleveland in Goodyear.
