The YMCA of Hopkinsville is hosting its annual meeting on January 30 and it will also kick off their 2020 fundraising campaign.
According to a news release, the meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and attendees will have the opportunity to meet the YMCA’s new Chief Volunteer Officer and oncoming board members. Donations given to the YMCA’s Annual Campaign support many programs and services, including year-round feeding program, special needs programming through Camp Achievement, financial assistance for membership and program fees, and Pryme Tyme afterschool program at MLK Elementary.
During the meeting, the YMCA will recognize its Volunteer of the Year and Coach of the Year.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate in the 2020 Annual Campaign by purchasing a table at the event, which are $120 per table. Individual tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.
