Parents of Todd County students will have a chance to learn more about the Career Cruising parent portal and about their child’s Individual Learning Plan at an event Tuesday.
Todd County Schools Community Educator Katrena Smith says the educational forum will be held Tuesday in the Todd County Central High School auditorium starting at 6 p.m. and there they’ll be able to learn about the importance of the learning plan and how to access it. She says Career Cruising is a valuable program that offers many services to both students and parents.
Smith says she’ll walk guardians through how to register their account, and she’ll be able to show them how to do so on their own devices as well.
She says the Individual Learning Plan has to be completed every year as a graduation requirement, and it’s designed to help students learn what they want to do and how to achieve it.
