The Christmas season showings continues at the Alhambra Theatre this weekend, as the Annie Moses Band will take the stage at the historic Hopkinsville landmark.
The Annie Moses Band is an ensemble of six siblings of instrumentalists and vocalists that fuses American roots with folk rock and jazz. Pennyroyal Arts Council Director Margaret Prim says this is a Sunday show—happening December 15 at 4 p.m.—and it coincides with all the Christmas events taking place downtown that weekend.
She says tickets are still up for grabs and will still be available at the door that evening—she says a lot have people have been exploring the theatre and learning about its history recently.
The theatre has been home to many successful shows this season, including the packed showing of Wynonna and the Big Noise recently, and will continue to utilize the theatre for holiday showings. On December 20 they’ll screen the movie Die Hard, followed by Home Alone on December 21.
