The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot Tuesday night.
Deputies responded to the New Concord area at about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday and determined 33-year old Charles Milam of New Concord had a shotgun wound to the upper right leg that he had sustained during an altercation.
Police applied a tourniquet to Milam’s leg until EMS arrived and he would eventually be transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
