A barn on Howard Dickerson Road in Christian County was a total loss in a fire Thursday afternoon.
That’s according to the Pembroke Fire Department, who responded to the structure in the 3500 block around 3:30 p.m. for reports of a fire that had started inside of a barn on the property. There was no one inside of the barn at the time of the blaze, so no injuries were reported.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the single structure itself, though the building will be a complete loss due to damage caused by the blaze.
The Fairview Fire Department and the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
