The pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Tiny Town Road early Friday morning has died of his injuries.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, it happened near Needmore Road just before 3:30 a.m. Preliminary investigation indicates that an elderly male with diminished mental capacity was walking in the center of the continuous left lane of Tiny Town near the Kroger. He was reportedly wearing dark clothing, and it was heavily raining at the time.
That’s when he was struck by the vehicle, as the driver was reportedly unable to see him until it was too late.
No charges are expected to be filed at this time. The names of those involved have not yet been released.
