Local principals graduate from Kentucky Chamber leadership program

Forty-four principals from schools across Kentucky, including a couple from Christian County, recently graduated from the Kentucky Chamber Foundation’s Leadership Institute for School Principals Program.

According to a news release, the leadership institute hosts leadership development classes for principals that address the unique opportunities and challenges they may face in school’s today. The institute was established 14 years ago, and so far, more than 461 principals from 112 Kentucky counties have graduated from it.

South Christian Elementary School Principal Tiffany Gray and Crofton Elementary School Principal Chris Guier were among this year’s institute graduates.

Leadership Institute Board Co-chair Rich Maddux says for Kentucky to grow and have a better quality of life for its citizens, education is crucial, and that’s why the businesses continues to invest in programs like this and in the principals who help shape the future workforce.
