Greenville woman killed in KY 189 crash

The Greenville Police Department is identifying the victim killed in a crash on the KY 189 Bypass in Muhlenberg County Friday morning.

According to Greenville police, the crash happened at roughly 11:30 a.m. Friday near Muhlenberg County High School when a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Glenda Mauk of Greenville left the roadway and overturned. It is currently believed that Mauk experienced a medical emergency that caused her to lose control of the vehicle.

Mauk was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of multiple injuries, but she would succumb to her injuries a short time later.

Two passengers in the vehicle were transported to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
