The Girls’ District 8 Basketball Tournament title is on the line tonight when the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers play host to the Christian County Lady Colonels for what will likely be the last time in history.
Christian County swept the season series with the Lady Tigers, winning 66-33 and 74-35.
The Lady Colonels earned a bye into tonight’s title game and enter the game at 13-9 on the season.
Hopkinsville broke a 14-game losing streak by defeating Fort Campbell 74-43 in the semifinal game Monday night. The Lady Tigers are 2-17 on the year with both wins coming against the Lady Falcons.
Tipoff tonight is at 6 p.m. with airtime set for 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com. Tickets are $10 and are cash only at the door.
