Christmas is less than a month away, to get into the holiday spirit the Oak Grove Tourism Commission is inviting the community to its annual Christmas Parade and Santa’s Workshop on December 6.
The festivities kick off with a Christmas parade at 5 p.m., which will circle the Oak Grove War Memorial Walking Trail. The parade will feature brightly decorated golf carts, cars, trucks, trailers and include an appearance from Santa Claus.
Following the parade, attendees can check out Santa’s Workshop to snap pictures with the jolly fellow himself, grab some hot chocolate and cookies and enjoy some holiday tunes.
Commission Executive Director, Traci Cunnigham says the parade is a wonderful opportunity for folks to celebrate the season. The parade and Santa’s Workshop are free to attend.
