Police arrest man for endangerment, terroristic threatening

Hopkinsville Police arrested 35-year-old Jeremy Tillman of Hopkinsville for wanton endangerment and terroristic threatening after he reportedly rammed into another vehicle on Tuesday.

According to a report from police, officers were responding to a two-vehicle accident with injuries near East First and Mechanic Streets. At the scene, officers reportedly found that one of the drivers, later identified as Tillman, fled from the scene.

The other vehicle suffered severe damage to the rear driver’s side. The operator reportedly told officers that Tillman rammed into their car causing it to spin out of control and strike a light pole. Tillman also allegedly threatened to kill the victim before leaving the scene.

Tillman was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree terroristic threatening and violating a protective order.
