Dr. Cherise Williams was announced as the new Director of District Wide Services for the Todd County Public School District on Tuesday.
Williams has had a long career in the Kentucky education system. She has spent the last 11 years as the principal of South Christian Elementary School, and before that, she served various roles as the school administrator of Collier County Public Schools in Florida. These roles include Dean of Discipline and Attendance, Assistant Principal and Principal.
She received her doctoral degree in instructional systems design from the University of Kentucky in 2020.
With 30 years of service in the education field, Todd County Superintendent Mark Thomas says he is hopeful her experience will be an asset to the administrators and teaching staff as they continue to grow their students’ achievements.
