Grand jury returns indictments for assault, robbery, criminal abuse

A Christian County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments last week, including for robbery, assault, wanton endangerment and more.

Indicted on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree assault domestic violence is 25-year-old K’Jawuan Major of Hopkinsville, who is accused of using force or threatening to use physical force while armed with a deadly weapon in commission of a theft on February 26. He also allegedly struck a female victim in the head several times with a handgun, causing serious physical injury. 

Indicted for five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked licenses and several traffic violations is 19-year-old Stephon Northington of Clarksville.  He allegedly led officers on a pursuit in April of this year.

Indicted for second-degree assault is 20-year-old Riley Doss of Gracey, after he allegedly assaulted a female victim in March by punching her in the face several times, and then kicking her in the face and body when she fell the ground, causing serious physical injury. 

Thirty-four-year-old Ashlee Mann of Hopkinsville is indicted on a first-degree criminal abuse charge—she allegedly intentionally abused a minor child, causing physical injury in March of this year.
