The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a road rage incident that ran a semi-truck off of I-24 Monday afternoon.
According to a news release, the incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. when a tractor-trailer driven by a Hispanic male suspect side-swiped another semi, causing that semi to leave the roadway. It crossed the westbound on-ramp of Exit 8 and entered tree line.
The female driver of that semi sustained minor injuries and was shaken up by the event.
Officers are actively searching for the other semi that was involved and it’s driver, which left the scene prior to officer arrival. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
