The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be blocking a portion of South Clay Street in Hopkinsville starting Monday to allow for paving work.
According to a news release, contractors will close a five-block section of South Clay Street in Hopkinsville from East Fourth Street to U.S. 41 to apply a new layer of asphalt.
Work is set to begin on Monday or Tuesday, weather depending, and the work should be completed within two days.
