Details have been released on the vehicle versus pedestrian collision that sent a teenager to Jennie Stuart for treatment Monday morning.
According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, 14-year-old Aaleigh Bell of Hopkinsville was walking in the crosswalk at North Drive and Glass Avenue, heading east. A vehicle driven by 17-year-old Jessica Mendoza of Hopkinsville was heading north on North Drive, and reportedly did not see the pedestrian, striking her.
Bell was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
