CCPS Superintendent talks end of year plans, brags on student success

The end of another school year is fast approaching, and Christian County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel is bragging on students as they head into the final stretch.

Graduation is set for May 17 and Superintendent Bentzel says students are achieving accolades at all levels and for all types of accomplishments, from athletics to art and academics, including a perfect score on the ACT and admittance to the Gatton Academy.

He says online enrollment for next school year is already open, and students across the district will be taking part in testing this week.

Superintendent Bentzel took a moment to brag on students for their efforts to raise money to support the Rotary Scholars Program, raising a record amount on their own, and congratulated Rotary on a record-breaking auction last week.
