Deputies arrest Hopkinsville man for drug trafficking

A narcotics investigation conducted by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of 56-year-old Mark Joiner of Hopkinsville for drug trafficking on Tuesday.

According to a report from the Sheriff’s Office, deputies and detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Hillside Terrace in connection to an ongoing investigation.

At the residence, law enforcement reportedly discovered a significant amount of narcotics, including suspected Fentanyl, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Percocet. Two handguns and a significant amount of cash was located as well.

Joiner was charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance for Opiates, Fentanyl and an unspecified drug and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.
