Unsettled weather is in store for the region this week, as several chances of rain and storms make their way across this portion of the country.
The first chance of rain and spring thunder storms comes through Tuesday night, with National Weather Service in Paducah Meteorologist David Witten saying they’re not expecting any severe weather with that.
Then Friday night through Monday brings more chances for storms, with the greatest chance for severe weather shaping up for Sunday into Monday.
If you’re a fan of warm weather, you’re in luck—Witten says it will feel like early summer by Friday, with warm temperatures in store.
Those temperatures look to continue in the 8-to-14 day outlook, and Witten says they’ll likely bring with them chances for more active weather, with the outlook trending wetter than average.
