Bainbridge Road in Pennyrile State Park in Christian County will be blocked early next week to allow the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to conduct cross drain replacement operations.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the blockage will take place on KY 398 between KY 1348 at the 5.2-mile marker to Beach Road at the 6.2-mile marker. Work will last from Monday at 7 a.m. through Wednesday at 4 p.m.
There will be no marked detour, but motorists will be able to take Pennyrile Forrest Road to Dawson Springs Road to bypass the work zone.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
