HOPKINSVILLE, KY (April 9, 2024). Hopkinsville High School has announced Blake Leach will step down from his position as Athletic Director at the end of the 2023-2024 season. Coach Leach has served as the school’s athletic director for the past five years.

“I have enjoyed my time as the Athletic Director of Hopkinsville High School,” said HHS AD Blake Leach.  “I am very grateful for the support from our administration, coaches and the Hopkinsville HS family. I am looking forward to more time spent with my son, and the opportunity to be involved in baseball at Hopkinsville HS again. With the time that is required for this position, this is the best move for me at this point in my life. I will still be involved in athletics but in a different role in support of the Tigers programs.”

“Coach Leach has done an exceptional job serving as our athletic director at Hopkinsville High School,” said principal Cindy Campbell.  “He has been an asset to our athletic department and will certainly be missed.   We wish Coach Leach and his family the very best in his future endeavors.”

Hopkinsville High School will begin the search for a new Athletic Director in the coming weeks.
