Pennyrile Electric plans a daytime work zone lane restriction on KY 139/Jefferson Street in downtown Cadiz on Wednesday.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, this lane restriction is to allow a critical utility pole that carries multiple power and communications lines to be replaced at the rear of the Trigg County Court House. The work zone lane restriction is along Jefferson Street near the Monroe Street intersection at KY 139.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers from 7 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday. Significant delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work. Commercial trucks should avoid this work zone.
