Cayce Days returns to Museums of Historic Hopkinsville

It’s time for the return of Cayce Days to the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County and the community is invited to celebrate and learn more about one of Hopkinsville’s most famous sons.

According to a news release, the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County, Visit Hopkinsville, and Milkweed Health & Harmony Emporium will celebrate the work of psychic Edgar Cayce on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, with a day full of activities downtown.

The festivities get underway Friday at 5:30 p.m. with a reception at the Pennyroyal Area Museums, with a presentation with Grace Abernathy about “The Women of Edgar’s Cayce Family” and a viewing of the Beautiful Dreamer film.

But the big event takes place Saturday with a full schedule of activities, including a Chakra Workshop at 9 a.m., followed by a slew of events including tours of Beverly Academy, a Mummy Food Demonstration and Tasting, a stones and crystals presentation at Milkweed Health and Harmony Emporium, group meditation and Labyrinth Walk and more.

Build your own fairy garden kit and make a mandala craft while supplies last to take home. Take the Edgar Cayce Cell Phone Tour to travel to local sites and learn more about his life in Hopkinsville. The tour concludes at his gravesite in Riverside Cemetery.
