Two Tennessee women were injured in a crash on the Pennyrile Parkway early Tuesday morning.
According to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, it happened near the 24-mile marker in the southbound lanes, when a vehicle operated by 29-year-old Maliaka Williams of Madison, Tennessee went off of the roadway. Fatigue is listed as a factor in the crash.
The vehicle travelled up an earthen embankment and overturned before coming to a stop in the south bound emergency lane.
Williams and a passenger, 27-year-old Makayla Kirkwood of Nashville, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
