A motion to modify bond was put on the table for complicity to murder suspect Tyron Holt in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
Holt was charged with complicity murder in connection to the 2022 shooting death of 18-year-old Gailon Toler. On Wednesday, Holt’s defense attorney Jarrod Jackson requested for a bond modification that would allow Holt to at least be on an ankle monitor.
Jackson says Holt would be able to reside with his mother in Clarksville and find work. Further explaining his bond request, Jackson says Holt was not the one who pulled the trigger, but instead it was case co-defendant Omega Plaisme who fatally shot Toler according to a bill of particulars.
In response to Jackson, Commonwealth’s Attorney, Maureen Leamy says there are still witnesses and a detective she would like to talk to before approving or denying the motion and that she has not come across definitive evidence that proves Plaisme was the shooter.
Circuit Court Judge, Andrew Self motioned to revisit a bond modification for Holt on January 10 after Leamy has spoken with the detective, witnesses and the victim’s family.
