Challenge House accepting donations for tornado impacted communities

As the communities of Clarksville and middle Tennessee continue to pick up the pieces after devastating tornadoes Saturday, Challenge House of Hopkinsville is looking to help out their neighbors.

Challenge House #7 Ambassador Jeff Littlefield says they’ll be accepting donations to take to those in need—whether that be Clarksville, Oak Grove or further—with the drop off location at Challenge House #7 at 1605 Phelps Avenue. He says what they need right now are items for babies, non-perishable food items, water and Gatorade, clean-up items and clothing.

He hopes to deliver the donated items on Thursday or Friday, and he says they’ll take it to wherever needs it the most.

Littlefield says the mission of Challenge House to help your neighbors where you can and he hopes to do that with this donation drive.

Littlefield says he knows it can be easy to get caught up in the downsides, but if they can deliver a little bit of light or hope to those who really need it right now, it will be mission accomplished—and he knows Hopkinsville will do what it takes to take care of their fellow man.
