It’s going to be unreasonably warm this week for November, before a cold front moves through and puts things at a more seasonable level with the chance for rain.
Sean Polous with the National Weather Service in Paducah says highs could reach the upper 80’s to start the work week, especially on Wednesday.
Then a chance of rain moves back into the area Wednesday night and Thursday, with the wind possibly getting quite blustery.
It will cool down some for the weekend before warming back up against next week, though Polous says it shouldn’t get as warm as it will be this week.
Polous took the time to remind that this is Fall Severe Weather season, as these cold and warm temperatures vie for control, so make sure you stay weather aware and have severe weather plans in place and ready to go, should they be needed.
