The City of Clarksville is celebrating the opening of a new city park—one that offers new amenities for families to enjoy, including handicapped accessible playground equipment.
Located at 408 Beech Street, a grand opening was held Friday celebrating the official opening of the park with a ribbon cutting. The park offers a wide range of amenities to enhance the quality of life for local residents and symbolizes partnerships across numerous governmental departments, including the Clarksville Street Department, Clarksville Gas, Water and Sewer, Clarksville Department of Electricity, Clarksville Municipal Properties, Neighborhood and Community Service and Clarksville Building and Facilities Maintenance Department Forestry Division
Along with an accessible playground, Beech Street park also offers ample seating, with benches and picnic tables, a pavilion and plenty of green space.
