The Todd County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a head-on collision on KY 104 from Sunday that sent five people to hospitals for treatment.
According to Todd County Sheriff Tracy White, investigation by Deputy Derek Baumann into a two-vehicle head-on collision on KY 104, west of Trenton, determined that a vehicle driven by Selene Monzon crossed over the center line.
It collided head-on with a vehicle operated by Patricia Shemwell of Trenton. Monzon and passengers Luna Nature and Crecia Nature were taken to local hospitals for treatment of injuries, while a fourth passenger, Luis Couoch, was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Shemwell was also flown by helicopter to Skyline Medical Center for serious injuries.
The Trenton Fire Department and Todd County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
