A Clarksville man is facing a felony receiving stolen property charge after investigation into a stolen vehicle on South Kentucky Avenue Monday.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers received an alert from a Flock camera in the area of Riverfront Drive and West Second Street that a vehicle that was reported stolen was in the area. Officers were able to locate the vehicle at a residence on South Kentucky a short time later.
The alleged driver of the vehicle was identified as 41-year-old Deanthony Wilford of Clarksville, who was also reportedly under the influence of alcohol. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle, who confirmed that it was stolen.
Wilford was arrested and charged with felony receiving stolen property and first-offense DUI.
