A Hopkinsville woman is facing felony assault charges after she allegedly attacked employees trying to assist her early Sunday morning at the Jennie Stuart Health emergency room.
The arrest citation for 37-year old Donesha Canada of Hopkinsville says she was brough to the ER after consuming an unknown amount of drugs and alcohol and that she struck one worker in the arm and caused an open wound to the arm to another with a scratch.
While waiting for the medical clearance and discharge paperwork from the hospital, Canada allegedly attempted to bite a police officer and spit on him.
She’s charged with three counts of third-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
