Tennessee pursuit goes through Todd, ends in Logan County with arrests

A pursuit of a stolen vehicle that began in Nashville early Tuesday morning went through Todd County before ending with two arrests in Logan County.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office says the Metro Nashville Police Department was pursuing the stolen car as it entered Logan County on US 79 about 1:30 a.m.

The vehicle reached speeds of 100 mph after going through Russellville while being pursued by deputies and crossing into Warren County, before making a u-turn and coming back into Logan County.

Tire deflation devices were used to bring the car to a stop just after 2 a.m. in Russellville, with both occupants—43-year old Rhonda Dunham and 54-year old Rodney Dunham of Gordonville, Tennessee—arrested.

Rodney is charged with numerous counts including receiving stolen property and possession of methamphetamine. Rhonda is charged with fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, possession of meth and numerous other counts.
