An arrest warrant for felony assault was served Monday night against a Hopkinsville man.
It alleges that on May 24, 55-year old John Stacy of Hopkinsville was in an argument with his girlfriend when he allegedly punched her in the face before striking her on the torso with a wooden stick.
The victim required treatment at a dentist for loosened front teeth and the warrant says she had bruising on her arms from attempting to block the blows from the stick.
Stacy is charged with second-degree assault.
